    What are the benefits of ING MediPlus Insurance?
    ING Medical Card (For Cashless Option Only)
    With ING Medical Card it guarantees you hospital admission at all panel hospital.² All authorized hospital bills will be settled automatically upon discharge.³
    If you have to be admitted to a non-panel hospital, please call our 24 hours service hotline for hassle-free admission with no deposit required.
    ¹ You may either opt for the cashless option, which comes with the ING Medical Card, or the non-cashless option, where you pay first and submit your claim to ING Insurance for reimbursement later. For premiums of each option please refer to the attached tables on page 9.
    ² If you are hospitalized during the first three (3) months of your policy, you will be required to pay first and then submit your claim to ING Insurance for reimbursement later, subject to the terms & conditions of the policy.
    ³ You are required to pay a Self-Insured Deductible amounting to RM50 for the hospitalization and surgical expenses which you have incurred.

    The follow are the services offered:
    International Medical Assistance Program-emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, repatriation of mortal remains, medical assistance, travel information.
    Domestic Medical Assistance Program-emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, medical assistance.
    Car Assistance Program*-emergency towing and minor roadside repair, car rental assistance, referral to service centres.
    Home Assistance Program*-plumbing, locksmith, general repair, air conditioning and pest control assistance.
    Travel Assistance Program*-provides information concerning visa, passport and inoculation requirement; assists in location of lost items, emergency message relay, arrangements of flights, legal referral, referral to interpreter/translator and weather and foreign exchange information.
    Services marked with an asterisk* are referral services only. The cost of the actual services shall be borne by the policyholder. These services are provided by a third party and the continuation of these services are subject to the agreement between ING Insurance Berhad and Asia Assistance Network (M) Sdn. Bhd.
    The benefits described for the Referral Emergency Assistance Programmed above have been summarized and are not exhaustive. Please refer to your policy document for detailed benefits, exclusions, terms & conditions.
    Choice of Plan
    ING MediPlus offers you a choice of three attractive plans designed to suit your budget and healthcare needs.
    Policy Renewability
    Your ING MediPlus insurance policy is renewable up to age 85 whilst the Company continues to transact hospitalization and surgical business. This policy renewability is subject to the aggregate lifetime claim limit of 3 times the Overall Annual Limit and insurability of the occupation class.
    120 Days Exclusion for Specific Illness
    ING MediPlus imposes 120 days exclusion on the following conditions:
    Hypertension, diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease
    Hernias, haemorrhoids, fistulae, hydrocele, varicocele
    All tumours, cancers, cysts, nodules, polyps, stones of the urinary system and biliary system
    Endometriosis including disease of the Reproduction system
    All ear, nose (including sinuses) and throat conditions
    Verterbo-spinal disorders (including disc) and knee conditions
    Exclusions/Limitations of Coverage
    No benefits shall be payable for hospitalization, surgery or charges caused directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, by any one of the following:
    Pre-Existing conditions.
    Any medical or physical conditions arising within the first thirty (30) days of the Insured Person’s cover or Date of Reinstatement whichever is latest except for accidental injuries.
    Plastic/Cosmetic surgery, circumcision, eye examination, glasses and refraction or surgical correction of nearsightedness (Radial Keratotomy or Lasik) and the use or acquisition of external prosthetic appliances or devices such as artificial limbs, hearing aids, implanted pacemakers and prescriptions thereof.
    Dental conditions including dental treatment or oral surgery except as necessitated by Accidental Injuries to sound natural teeth occurring wholly during the Period of Insurance.
    Private nursing, rest cures or sanitaria care, illegal drugs, intoxication, sterilization, venereal disease and its sequelae, AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) or ARC (AIDS Related Complex) and HIV related diseases and any communicable diseases required quarantine by law.
    Any treatment or surgical operation for congenital abnormalities or deformities including any hereditary conditions.
    Pregnancy, child birth (including surgical delivery), miscarriage, abortion and prenatal or postnatal care and surgical, mechanical or chemical contraceptive methods of birth control or treatment pertaining ton infertility. Erectile dysfunction and tests or treatment related to impotence or sterilization.
    Hospitalization primarily for investigatory purposes, diagnosis, X-Ray examination, general physical or medical examinations, not incidental to treatment or diagnosis of a covered Disability or any treatment which is not Medically Necessary and any preventive treatments, preventive medicines or examinations carried out by a Physician, vitamins/food supplements and treatments specifically for weight reduction or again.
    Any Outpatient treatment unless specifically provided under this policy.
    Suicide, attempted suicide or intentionally self-inflected injury while sane or insane.
    War or any act of war, declared or undeclared, criminal or terrorist activities, active duty in any armed forces, direct participation in strikes, riots and civil commotion or insurrection.
    lonizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or nuclear waste from process of nuclear fission or from any nuclear weapons material.
    Expenses incurred for donation of any body organ by the Life Insured and costs of acquisition of the organ including all cost incurred by the donor during organ transplant and its complications.
    Investigation and treatment of sleep and snoring disorders, hormone replacement therapy and alternative therapy such as treatment, medical service or supplies other than Western medicines, including but not limited to chiropractic services, acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, bone setting, herbalist treatment, message or aroma therapy or other alternative treatment.
    Care or treatment for which payment is not required or to the extent which is payable by any other insurance or indemnity covering the Life Insured and Disabilities arising out of duties of employment or profession that is covered under a Workman’s Compensation Insurance Contract.
    Psychotic, metal or nervous disorders, (including any neuroses and their physiological or psychosomatic manifestations).
    Costs/expenses of services of a non-medical nature, such as television, telephones, telex services, radios or similar facilities, admission kit/pack, medical report and other ineligible non-medical items.
    Sickness or injury arising from racing of any kind (expect foot racing), hazardous sport such as but not limited to skydiving, water skiing, underwater activities requiring breathing apparatus, winter sports, professional sports and illegal activities.
    Private flying other than as a fare-paying passenger in any commercial scheduled airlines to carry passengers over established routes.
    Expanses incurred for sex changes.
    Any treatment following an unlawful act.

    Questions & Answers
    Q: Who is eligible?
    A: Anyone between the ages of 30 days to 69 years old can apply for ING MediPlus. Acceptance however is subject to underwriting. foreign citizens who apply to participate in MM2H programme
    Q: Is this policy eligible for tax relief?A: Yes. When you purchase this Plan, you are entitled to tax relief subject to the provisions of the Income Tax Act 1967. Your premiums are eligible for tax deduction up to a maximum of RM3,000 per year (inclusive of insurance premium for Education Plans). The amount of tax relief may vary as declared by the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board.
    Q: When I receive the Plan and I do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, can I still reconsider?A: Yes, you can. Within fifteen (15) days from the date the policy is delivered to you, you are free to review the policy and cancel the policy without assigning any reason. ING will refund all the premiums already paid less any expenses incurred for medical examination (if any). We want you to understand the full benefits of this Plan for you and your family to ensure that the Plan fulfils your needs.
    Q: How do I make a claim?

    Please note:
    Premium payment shall be made on a yearly basis until the policy anniversary nearest to 70th birthday of life insured.
    Immediate written notice must be given to ING of any change to your occupation. The Company shall be entitled to determine if any additional premium is payable or to terminate the policy if your occupation has changed to one which is not insurable under this plan.
    Upon renewal, premium may increase based on your Attained Age. The Attained Age of a Life Insured at a particular Policy Anniversary Date is computed by adding the Age of Entry of the Life Insured to the number of completed Policy Years from the Policy Date.
    Premiums are not guaranteed and ING reserves the right to revise the premiums upon renewal of policies by way of not less than 30 days’ notice in writing. Factors contributing to the increase in premiums are age-specific and plan-specific claims experience, medical inflation and corresponding increase in Overall Annual Limit.
    If you have received the compensation or reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred from any other medical insurance, any employee benefit or any Government law and program, the benefit payable shall be limited to those medical expense which are not fully reimbursed under such scheme.
    No benefit whatsoever shall be payable for any medical treatment outside Malaysia apart from Singapore and Brunei if the Life Insured resides or travels outside Malaysia for more than ninety (90) consecutive days.
    If the Life Insured seeks treatment overseas, benefits in respect of the treatment shall be covered subject to the exclusions and conditions specified in this plan. Overseas treatment (apart from Singapore and Brunei) of a disease, sickness or injury where there is no Medical Emergency or for chronic conditions where treatment can reasonably be postponed until return to Malaysia are excluded.
    For medical treatments outside Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, the medical expenses in respect of such treatment shall be payable only for the emergency treatment while traveling overseas for not more than ninety (90) consecutive days. The benefit payable for any medical treatments outside Malaysia shall be limited to the Reasonable and Customary Charges for such equivalent treatment in Malaysia.
    You should ensure that the plan meets your needs and that the premium payable under the policy is an amount that you can afford. The policy will be terminated if premiums are not paid within the 30 days grace period from the due date.

    1. it seems ING agents are free lance. Say we are banking into the agents account number our premium amount each month.
      Now how sure are we the agents deliver our payments to ING.
      How if that agent had left the company but still we are banking into his account...........how can this be addressed
